OASIS OF MARA ELECTROLYTES were developed in Southern California as a response to maintaining an active lifestyle in one of the driest places on earth.

Founded in the Mojave Desert and named after a real oasis near Joshua Tree National Park, we strive to help people stay efficiently hydrated wherever they are—in spite of rising temperatures, environmental challenges, and declining water quality everywhere.
Currently, 63–69% of American households opt to filter their at-home drinking water due to high chlorine content, contamination with PFAS (“forever chemicals”), heavy metals like lead and arsenic, or agricultural, industrial, and medical runoff and byproducts (such as glyphosate)—a trend that is steadily rising.
Some feel the need to filter simply because they rate the taste of their tap water as ”average” or “poor” due to old or questionable municipal and residential plumbing.
Taking ownership of what goes into your body and filtering your water is a great start! But unfortunately, most filter systems also remove a lot of the nutrients and minerals our bodies need to hydrate effectively and efficiently.
U.S. health authorities suggest a general fluid intake of 2.5 to 3 Liters (~85 to 100 oz) per day on average for healthy adults, depending on body mass and activity level, and a diet sufficient in essential electrolytes like sodium, potassium and magnesium to achieve an optimal fluid balance.
